Self-Defense Tactics & Fitness focuses on Fitness and Self-Defense. It comprises fitness, self-defense and weapons classes to assist Tribers in achieving their fitness, self-defense and even nutritional goals. Our nutritional exchange classes discuss what is good health through eating.
Cobalt Self-Defense Tactics is a system, not a style. I agree with Bruce Lee, styles are dead. My system is built upon the experience that I have gained by learning, studying and training in several martial arts and fitness methodologies. I incorporate what works, discard what doesn't and what remains, I make uniquely my own. I teach my brown and black belt students to do the same! We are progressive and we adapt.
We Build:
We offer Tribers "the" place to grow, learn and achieve their fitness & self-defense goals. We also promote a team atmosphere where we realize that to climb higher, we need each other.
Our Self-Defense classes train with this concept: continuous, ballistic, combatives (retziv). We "fight" until we believe the threat is no longer a threat or we have extricated ourselves from the violent encounter. That same mentality is applied to all of our fitness and weapons' classes.
