Descent Into Darkness

Descent Into Darkness is a wonderful series that I have based on my up and coming Role Playing Game (RPG) Blood, Guts and Grace, The Land of Mystics. My trilogy takes place in the year 15,075 AD and starts out with a gnome who's starving and in need of money so that he can buy food and shelter. The World of Ksa-Korin, is the earth centuries and centuries after the fall of the technological age that was dominated by mega-corporation CEOs who ruled the world and owned all of the people on earth as well as all of the resources. The mega-corp arcologies are where people formerly lived and were owned by some mega-corporation board members, the 1%.

Our trusty gnome and later his companion on the journey to find stolen mead, Christina and her faithful dog Broms, are both seeking a better way of life. They stumble upon a mead heist in the tavern, which leads to a deeper more sinister plot of children being sold into the sex slave trade as well as diamonds being stolen from Christina's father's diamond mine. However, the story unrolls at a casual pace so as to give the reader the taste of Ksa-Korin, as the world is then called.

Of Wolves, Sheep, Sheep Dogs & Hyenas

I am now working on Part 2 of Descent Into Darkness and it will release sometime this June. That's the plan. It will be followed by the 2nd book in the trilogy shortly thereafter.

Of Wolves deals with surviving the aftermath of a violent encounter as well as how to discern when we have met a wolf, a sheep, a sheep dog or a hyena. These are the 4 categories of human behavior that I present to the reader from my experience in martial arts and self-defense. I define the 4 personality types and behaviors associated with them so that the reader may discern them in their own lives.

How to survive after a violent encounter entails what to expect legally as well as socially. I am no legal expert or psychologist so what I offer is learned experience of having to survive encounters with these types of individuals. I also present the Castle Doctrine in the State of Alabama and other legal resources to study for those so interested.

The publishing of these two books is a major feat indeed. Please buy them! They are good reads.
